Michele, it would depend on your grocery store’s coupon policy. I would think that you could because of the way these coupons are used, but I would check with your grocery store.

My wife loves couponing. She saves us so much money on shopping. She is not at the level of extreme however she is very diligent about it. Her shopping list revolves around coupons. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to save money and cut expenses. By the way you have a great sight. Lots of great content and useful information.

How do I get started saving coupons ? Does the coupon saved have to be used for a certain item Example ; like 25 cents off a certain box of corn flakes ? Im 65 yrs old , happily divorced and retired military and live on a fixed income…..Please tell me the correct way to do this !!!!!

That Samsung looks like a pretty sweet phone! I’m gonna do a bit of research into the features that it has. I discovered today that you can also now get the Nokia E71 on Straight Talk. I have been with Straight Talk for sometime now on the $45 unlimited plan and have been so happy with the service. Now time to use my savings to upgrade my phone!

Planning ahead definitely helps you save! It also helps keep you sane since you can avoid the “What should we have for dinner?” scenario when everyone is already hungry! One thing I might add to the list is to be sure and share the meal plan with everyone – post it on the fridge or something. That way, if you’re planning burgers for dinner, no one eats burgers at lunch!

It’s not always “simple” to simplify your life, but well worth it. One of the hardest things I did was to give up my land-line phone. I’d had my number for over 15 years, and it was a part of me. Silly, I know. Now I only use my cellphone, and like you said, am very stingy about giving out the number. Now I only get calls from the people I want, and saved money to boot on my phone bill.
