Frugal Simplicity

After much searching and testing various new Wordpress templates to give Frugal Simplicity a makever, we found that none of the Wordpress templates we looked at and tried worked the way we wanted them to. The ones the looked nice didn’t accomodate our present advertisers, the ones that did simply didn’t look good, and so forth.

So in the spirit of frugal living at it’s best, we worked and worked and tweaked and tweaked… reusing what the same general template we had used. But since that wouldn’t work with the new Wordpress upgrade, it required a lot of tweaking.

We removed most of the coloring in the body of the template, and made it a bit plainer. We chose to keep the sun rise header, because it (to me) symbolizes the beginning of a new day and starting over.. trying again.. a reminder to keep on trying and not giving up.. knowing that tomorrow is always a new day and a fresh start… refreshing!

I am sure over the coming days that we will notice a few minor things that will need to be tweaked a bit more.
